Division of Business and Finance Mission
In a spirit of stewardship, the mission of the Business and Finance Division is to provide those support services which enhance the overall mission of Barry University. These services include:
- Accounts Payable: The Accounts Payable Department is responsible for the payment of all university related expenses, these include: utility bills, travel advances and reimbursements, vendor payments, petty cash and general reimbursements, etc.
- Business Services & Facilities Management: ousekeeping, grounds, construction, conference and event services, telecommunications, switchboard; graphics and printing, and postal services;
- Finance: financial operations and analysis, accounting, payroll, purchasing and accounts payable, Cashier/Business Office (CBO), budgets, external audit, cash management, grants and contracts;
- Purchasing: The Purchasing Department is responsible for the central procurement of supplies, furniture and other items for the campus community.
The Division of Business and Finance provides timely, reliable, professional, courteous, cooperative, and effective assistance.
The senior vice president for the Business and Finance Division provides executive leadership and is responsible for the financial and business operations of the University.
